We are the Red, White, and Blue America!!

Published by rngruber at 6:05 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

I saw Senator Obama speak in person for the first time today (in Indianapolis)! It was amazing, not only amazing but honestly a life changing event! When have I ever been in a place where there are so many different people, different ages, races, walks of life in one place to support the same great cause? Never, never will you the the diversity, the same hope, the same incredible strength of a ‘one nation,’ in one place. (Or so I believe). Let’s just say, I already knew who I was voting for, but if I didn’t, I would now know! Obama brings people together and will bring this nation together as one again!!!

Now, I just want to post a snip bit from Kathleen Parker: ”While some have minimized the impact of a Bradley effect in this election, we’d be wrong to discount it. Anti-black has morphed to some degree into anti-foreigner and anti-Muslim.

“Palling around with terrorists,” as Sarah Palin said of Obama, gets to an underlying xenophobic, anti-Muslim sentiment. Using surrogates who strategically use Obama’s middle name, Hussein, feeds the same dark heart…

To McCain’s credit, he has tried to correct his audience — when, for example, a woman said she couldn’t trust Obama because he’s an Arab. Gosh, wonder where she ever got that idea? But the McCain-Palin bad cop-good cop routine is what it is. The hot babe lathers the crowd; the noble soldier hoses them down. This isn’t a campaign; it’s a sideshow.”

Wow…. right? Don’t EVEN tell me this is about race…. this is about the nasty politics from the “other” side.

God bless Obama in these last few days, and God bless his grandmother, and may God bless the USA! GO VOTE!

That’s awesome that you got to make it there today…I was able to catch the speech in Kansas City last Saturday, and it was killer. The crowd estimate for Indy was 35-40,000. Which if I’m not mistaken, beat Palin’s desecration of Deer Creek (I refuse to call it Verizon).

I grew up in Indiana, and still have quite a few friends there…it’s fun to think the Hoosier State might become the Bluesier State.
